Welcome to Introduction to Podcasting for the Hospitality Professional! We are so glad that you are here and have made the decision to share your message, brand, and / or business with the world through the power of podcasting!

Whether you’ve been sharing your message in other ways for years, or you’re brand new to the online world, I hope this introductory course will help you make your dream of a podcast a reality!

Watch this video for a brief intro and overview of what to expect with this course. Our ultimate goal is to help you launch your podcast quickly without sacrificing strategy.

Dr. Professor Chef

Chef Colin Roche has been in the hospitality field for over thirty-five years and has multiple degrees in this discipline. He is also an award-winning educator who is a member of numerous professional organizations. Dr. Roche’s certifications include the American Culinary Federation’s “Certified Executive Chef” (CEC) and “Certified Culinary Educator” (CCE); The National Restaurant Association’s “Foodservice Management Professional” (FMP); and the American Hotel & Lodging Educational Institute’s “Certified Hospitality Educator” (CHE).

Dr. Roche is also co-author of the book “Culinary Educators’ Teaching Tools & Tips” (Kendall Hunt, 2014). His area of research interests includes culinary and hospitality education, tertiary education (teaching, learning, pedagogy, and assessment) and the scholarship of teaching & learning (SOTL). He also lectures and consults for schools and businesses across the United States and hosts his own YouTube channel titled “DrProfessorChef” (http://bit.ly/DrProfessorChef). He is also the creator and host of two educational podcasts, titled the “Chef Educator” (http://www.ChefEducator.com) and “Culinary School Stories” (http://www.CulinarySchoolStories.com).
